For our first screening of 2023, we are looking back to a formative film for all goth girls and wannabe witches; it’s ‘The Craft’ (1996)!

Whoever said being a teenage girl is easy has clearly never been one. And these girls, on top of dealing with the perils of female friendship, gross boys and turbulent home lives, also have powers of the coven to contend with.

As always, dressing up is highly encouraged, so now it’s your chance to dig through your teenage closet and haphazardly apply your kohl eyeliner and black lipstick. 

Doors at 6pm with screening to start at 6:30.

Ghouls on Film is a monthly feminist horror film club, showing films that challenge the representations of women within the genre. Expect cult classics, independent releases and rare lesser-known films that explore how women can find agency in the world of horror.

This event is open to all genders and strives to be inclusive in its film screenings.
