Up-and-coming Derry based comedian Leeann Toland tours her debut stand-up special this Spring. Thranifesto is a near hour-long rant from a woman who has been told her entire life that ‘you can’t make a living out of complaining’.
Leeann is a Coven favourite, a regular at Chicken Box Comedy in Derry, and is the resident comedian for the Black Box’s Life After Art Festival. Leeann was a semi-finalist for So You Think You’re Funny? at the Edinburgh Fringe, a finalist in Show Me The Funny and has been voted the North West’s second best comedy act. Leeann has never been on TV but she does enjoy watching it. Leeann dreams of one day gaining access to a time machine to travel to the set of Jackass 2 (2006) and shifting Johnny Knoxville.
