This event will explore the current situation in relation to the Irish language and legislation on the Island of Ireland.
Our speakers will give their unique perspective on what is sometimes a complex topic. They will consider what impact attitudes in both jurisdictions have had on language legislation and developments, both positive and negative.
The panel will envision how the language may evolve in coming decades and if there are lessons to be learned.
We expect the discussion to be both informed and passionate and we warmly encourage those who are curious about the Irish language to join in and make their voice heard.
The panel discussion will be in English.
