We’re Recruiting a Venue Assistant!
By The Black BoxWorking with our established venue team, reporting to the Venue Manager and Operations Manager, this dynamic role is perfect for a candidate who has a background in events, has excellent technical knowledge and enjoys working in a busy live events environment.
Responsibilities
- To assist in the set up for a wide range of events.
- Ensure the highest standard of cleanliness and tidiness prior to events.
- To undertake venue inventory including sorting and labelling equipment Assist in the upkeep of the venue’s equipment.
- Assist in day-to-day operational tasks.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Be able to work well in a fast-paced environment.
- Be able to work well both autonomously as well as part of a team.
- Have effective communication skills.
- Ability to take initiative and problem solve in carrying out role.
Desirable Skills
- Adequate skills in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Good working knowledge of the Belfast arts landscape.
- Have a full, clean driving licence.
- Ability to have a flexible working schedule & work to the requirements of the organisation.
Further Information
This is a part-time temporary opportunity (25 hours per week), with an hourly Salary of £12 per hour.
