Fond Farewell Rachael!
By The Black BoxAfter nine years, it is with great sadness that we will be wishing our inspirationally dedicated director Rachael a fond farewell when she moves on to pastures new in September.
Rachael has had an instrumental impact since joining, with The Black Box going from strength to strength under her leadership. She and her committed team have brought passion and professionalism to the operation at all times, continuously prioritising the development of the venue as a leader in the alternative arts space.
During what was a challenging period through 2020 and 2021, Rachael’s guidance and support saw The Black Box’s community outreach continue uninterrupted, ensuring there was continuity and stability for many vulnerable people. Following this, she also led the successful reopening of the venue during very uncertain times, showing her adaptability and unwavering resilience. I can be sure that her presence will be felt by all associated with the The Black Box for many years to come.
As a Board we would like to thank Rachael for her dedication, commitment and determination and very much feel this isn’t goodbye but just cheerio, as we know you will be a strong leader in the sector for many years to come. Your connection with The Black Box is far from over and there is no doubt our paths will cross again!
