about

Festival club is back! Enjoy the festivities until the early hours of the morning as Jos Kelly, Niamh Farrell and Cillian Doheny take to the stage.

Jos Kelly has often been described as at the cutting edge of new Irish traditional music. He plays the button accordion and keyboard and has developed an excellent reputation on the Irish music scene and would be known, as a founding member of Moxie with whom he has achieved many accolades and travelled the world.

Niamh Farrell’s versatile voice and love for music and singing were instilled from a very young age in her native Sligo, Ireland. Her musical influences are vast, allowing her to move effortlessly between Irish traditional, gospel contemporary and folk genres, offering the audience an eclectic mix of material. Niamh has shared the stage and travelled the world with the likes of Project West, Seamus Begley, Bobby McFerrin and many more. In 2014/2015 she embarked on a world tour with singer-songwriter David Gray as part of his ‘Mutineers’ band and has since recorded and performed as a supporting artist for the singer-songwriter.

Multi-instrumentalist and composer Cillian Doheny has been playing music since the age of eleven, progressing to win All-Ireland titles on both Irish tenor banjo and guitar accompaniment in 2009. Since then, he has toured worldwide and performed with many artists including Brian Finnegan (Flook), Pádraig Rynne (Notify), Kevin Burke (Patrick Street), Pauline Scanlon (Lumiere) and Frankie Gavin (De Dannan).

Cillian’s most notable work is with bands MOXIE & ATLAS, having released two studio albums, two EPs and several singles with Moxie and an album, EP & single with Atlas. He is currently working on the third Moxie album & a solo venture that’s due to launch in 2024.
