Clinton Kirkpatrick is a community artist based in Belfast. Since graduating from the University of Huddersfield in 2008 he has exhibited locally, nationally and internationally. Clinton specialises in painting, drawing and printmaking and his work examines the human, its historical timeline, absurdity and systemic structures or constructs that enable, guide or manipulate us. Clinton has three published books of drawings that document aspects of a daily drawing practice since 2017. ‘Observing. Digesting. Spitting.’ (2023), ‘In Elephant We Trust.’ (2021), and ‘World View from a White Picket Fence.’ (2018).
