Join us for a day of festive creativity with two inspiring workshops. Whether you’re drawn to Victorian nostalgia or the magic of Tarot, on the Sunday 1st December we’ll be ringing in the holiday season, Ghouls on Film style.

Victorian Animation Workshop

Film maker and educator Stephen Mullan has been doing workshops in Victorian (pre cinema) animation for so long, he’s now convinced he was there for the first screening of the Lumiere Brothers films. 

Join Stephen in the wonders of creating Thumatropes, Zoetropes, Flick books and watching a few animated gems of early cinema. 

Can’t draw? That’s ok, you can colour in. This was the stay at home, Saturday night creative entertainment before cinema, radio and TV came into our lives.
