Hold on to your gluesticks! Having hit the ground running with a thriving fair this summer, Belfast Zine Fair is BACK and bringing a Queer Special Edition to the Black Box for Outburst!

Queerzines – small photocopied or self-published booklets with a limited, self-distributed run – have been one of the most vital and unrepentant forms of grassroots queer connection and counter-cultural creativity for decades. From queer punk music to academic rants to confessional comix, zines are an uncensored, independent platform for the queer ideas and expression we all need to hear right now.

This is a mostly cash-only event, so dust off that piggy bank and join us for Queerzine shopping, swapping, and making, with queer zinesters from Belfast and beyond. Explore the stalls, radicalise your personal zine library, and most of all, support your local makers – and stop by the craft table to make your own queerzine to trade or keep.
