We finish things off with NOUT – the harp, flute, and drums trio that are somehow the missing chain between Nirvana and Sun Ra. Yip, you read that right.

The French trio of Delphine Joussein, Rafaëlle Rinaudo and Blanche Lafuente push their instruments beyond their limits, with the enthusiasm of a mad scientist in a well-stocked lab. How is this sound so humongous? Did I just hear John Zorn? Why can’t I wipe the smile from my face? These are just some of the thoughts that will run through your head.

We can’t wait to present this incredible band on their first visit to the island.
