Kyron Bourke: Walking Into Snow — Album Launch..
about
Goliath Music NI proudly presents… Kyron Bourke: Walking Into Snow — Album Launch.
Born into a theatrical Dublin family, Kyron Bourke has carved out a remarkable career as a singer, pianist, composer, actor, painter, and storyteller.
Kyron is the co‑founder of Teatro Nua Productions and has toured widely across Ireland and beyond. The company premiered his jazz‑blues opera No Citation at The Lyric Theatre (Belfast) and also produced Kyron Bourke Celebrates Leonard Cohen which sold out in venues across the island. Alongside his work for stage and radio, Kyron regularly sings and plays at Bert’s Jazz Bar (Belfast), performing with his long‑standing all-star band.
Since releasing his debut on the Polygram label, Kyron has continued to record prolifically: Saved (1996), New Eyes (2002), If We Were Kings (with The Strangels, 2009), My Dirty Road (2015), No Citation (2020), and No Explanation (2021).
His latest album, Walking Into Snow (2024), will be performed live for the first time at this special launch event – featuring a mix of old favourites and new songs. Kyron will be joined by an exceptional ensemble: Peter McKinney (drums), Linley Hamilton (trumpet), Mateusz J. Chmielewski (guitar), Baz McCrudden (saxophone), Gary Duffy (flute), and David Armstrong (pipes).
Join us for an afternoon in the company of Belfast’s own wandering minstrel… expect songs about love & loss, delivered by Bourke’s unmistakable rasp – with time to ponder ‘the questions left by snow’.
A limited number of tickets available, advanced booking is strongly recommended.
