This Christmas, local Jingle Belles Sinéad and Tom O’Kelly are uniting for a special one night only cabaret performance in their native Belfast. This event will be jampacked full of your favourite Christmas songs, as well as many beloved showtunes and pop songs, with plenty of irreverent comedy thrown in for good measure.
Though a seasoned actor and singer already, Tom O’Kelly is in the genesis of his career. He has been lucky enough to train at the prestigious Royal Academy of Music in London for the past three years, where has honed his skills as a classical singer. He has been a soloist in venues across the UK and Ireland, including the Grand Opera House, Belfast, and the Wigmore Hall in London. Aside from classical music, he has begun to make a name for himself in the local musical theatre scene, having participated in several musical workshops and play readings. More recently, he has been a regular gigger in the London cabaret scene. Other passions of Tom’s include drinking Sauvignon Blanc and watching “Murder, She Wrote”.
In recent years, Sinéad O’Kelly has proven to be a tour de force in the international theatre scene, as a soloist, and particularly in opera, all to critical acclaim. Having trained at the National Opera Studio in London, Sinéad has gone on to enjoy a lot of success. In addition to singing leading roles in opera houses from Zurich to Dublin -and everywhere in between- she has also shared the stage with stars such as Cecilia Bartoli, Joyce Didonato, and NI superstar Peter Corry. As a soloist, she has performed in venues all over the world. When not singing at the Royal Albert Hall, Sinéad enjoys completing very difficult jigsaw puzzles and listening to true crime podcasts.
