One Man Band fuzz machine from Derry, Hypnic Jerk, aka Philip Wallace, has been gigging around the country since the release of his critically acclaimed debut album ‘On The Edge’ in March 2025. 4 singles with accompanying videos, have all had premieres via The Thin Air, Hotpress and Clash Magazine.
The live set up is truly unique, armed with a Farmer Footdrum Kit, a Danelectro guitar, honer harmonicas, bass amp, guitar amp, 2 pedals boards and heavily distorted vocals combined, create an energy, rumble and original sound that when heard resonates like a 5 piece band!
Recently signed to Belfast label ‘Black Tragick Records’ and playing blistering shows at The Electric Picnic things are finally starting to take off!
