Following the sold out signs going up for his first headline show in three years, at Oh Yeah Music Centre in February, Duke Special today announces a series of shows around the city stretching throughout 2023.
He will visit many more of the city’s renowned independent venues, beginning at the historic Sunflower Pub on Easter weekend, and ending at his favourite, The Empire Music Hall, in December. In between, there will be shows at The Black Box, Ulster Sports Club and Deer’s Head Music Hall.
The series will include a special all ages matinee event on the afternoon of Saturday 3 June, also at The Black Box
21 years ago Duke Special released his first EP, Lucky Me. Now, following a further15 records, Duke Special brings us Adventures in Belfast – 2023
Showcasing songs from across his remarkable career, he will be joined by long term collaborator and brother in arms, the tintinnabulator, Temperance Society Chip Bailey
