To celebrate all the badass women who make the world (and The Black Box) go round, we are welcoming DJ Time of the Month to the Green Room, for a special set of joyful vibes this International Women’s Day.
As a DJ and Producer (forming one half of Subculture of Two), DJ Time of the Month has solidified a reputation as a DJ who doesn’t play by the rules. Known for her joyful and genre-bending approach to DJing, her sets dip into everything from disco and Italo house to rap and footwork, often referencing the sounds of 90s Chicago and Detroit. Although fluid in her music choices, each set rotates around a core theme of high-energy, rhythm-heavy selections that create a sense of connection and inhibition in her crowd. Revellers of a DJ Time of the Month set can expect the unexpected and prepare themselves for a night of relentless, joyful expression on the dancefloor.
