Music, Poetry and Art performances from Moon Base!

Moon Base is a new project, run by The Black Box, for and by people with Learning Disabilities. For Culture Night, Moonbase invites you to their brand new Royal Avenue premises Call in for a cup of tea/coffee and a chat about the project. There will be musical performances, poetry and performance Art from our group members throughout the day. Their theme is ‘Love to Disrupt’ and the performances will take the form of a ‘protest’ using creativity. There’s also some talk of a street party in Lower Garfield Street and involving Moon Base’s new neighbours, Place NI and The Berliner…

10am- 2pm                         What is Moon Base? Come along, say Hi, have a cup of tea and find out more!

2pm – 3pm                         Group performance, protest songs

3pm – 4pm                         DJ Twister & Guests

4pm – 6.30pm                    Moon Base performance take 2; music, singing, dancing, poetry
