Five atmospheric, thoughtful, and experimental short films that explore the youth experience.
1. BOLICHE (Dir: Helher Escribano) – What would happen if one day you found out that your family was planning to eat your best friend?
2. THE LEOPARD (Dir: Mukti Krishan) – A leopard’s death in an apartment complex triggers more than just panic in 8-year-old Apu.
3. TEARFUL TIGERS (Dir: Adán Pichardo) – Marcos must navigate the cruel taunts of his classmates as he comes to terms with dyslexia.
4. PATAKHA (Dir: Rohit Relan) – An 11-year-old girl in rural India loses her bag on her first day of work at the firecracker factory.
5. LONG JOURNEY (Dir: Héctor Herce) – To claim his prize Nico must pass all his mother’s tests!
