Johanna Summer’s music is full of imagination and surprise. Coming from European classical music, she has created something perfect and unique that eludes easy category – combining classical music’s fidelity with the spontaneity of jazz.

Johanna started her piano career at age seven and it wasn’t long before she was winning awards and the attention of masters, such as piano icon Joachim Kühn, who describes her as “Scandalously good…an artist who seems to fearlessly pursue her own music.”

Releasing through ACT Music, Johanna’s music is wide and dynamic, sometimes delicate and fragile, sometimes tension-filled and rhythmically gripping, or irresistibly melodious. Every key struck happens in the spirit of musical storytelling – no bluster or grandstanding, simply a master at work.
