Black Box, Belfast is delighted to join forces with Learning Disability Pride and Mencap to bring you a celebration event for Learning Disability Pride Week 2024.

It’s the summer Solstice and the longest day of the year, so we want to shine a light on our community and celebrate in style with a special Friday night Black Moon club! This year’s theme for Learning Disability Pride is “Do you see me?” which is all about being seen, heard and valued. Why not join us for an evening of dancing and friendship at the Black Box?

We will have DJ Twister, DJ Revolve and DJ Stevie B on the deck with invited artist Trevor Lemon shaking his hips and getting us all shook up to Elvis. So slip on some blue suede shoes and join us on the dance floor!

Trevor is no stranger to the limelight and has performed at the Ulster Hall, the Culloden Hotel and worked with Mencap in Belfast and London. He has featured on the Hugo Duncan Show, The Gerry Anderson Show and The Stephen Nolan Show for the BBC and been spotlighted on UTV. Other radio shows also include airtime on City Beat and Downtown Radio.
