Black Box Projects have once more teamed up with the folks from the Northern Ireland Now Project, and are delighted to launch our hot new summer school!

You are invited to join us and spend a creative week learning about making videos for use in a night club environment. Participants will learn basic video skills, video editing and creative ways of creating funky visuals through crafts and live capture techniques. There will also be the opportunity to learn from videos in the Digital Film Archive and have your final videos form part of the new Northern Ireland Now Collection!

You may know our Black Moon DJ’s, but have you ever wondered what a VJ does? Well now is your chance to find out!

This summer school is designed specifically for adults from the learning disabled community and we can’t wait to get started! By the end of the week we will have created new Black Moon visuals and they will be screened for the first time at September’s Black Moon.

Who is this project for?
This summer school is designed specifically for adults from the learning disabled community. You may wish to attend with your PA (Personal Assistant, Care Worker, Friend or family member)
No experience is needed to take part.
Age: 18 +

PLEASE NOTE – LIMITED PLACES AVAILABLE
Participants will need to be available to attend each day of the project.
Participants are required to fill in a photo & video consent forms in advance of the project. Video footage and final video will become part of the Digital Film Archive with Northern Ireland Now Collection.
