Belfast Film Festival presents Wanda: Feminism & Moving Image.

This time, the Wanda team is collaborating with writer, film programmer and academic, Elena Gorfinkel, whose extensive curations on the subject include this year’s Wanda & Beyond at BFI Southbank and The World of Barbara Loden at Anthology Film Archives in NYC.
Each programme explores Loden’s work around Wanda, the 1970 now-classic, yet at one point largely forgotten feminist drama for which she is best known.
This event will include a screening and discussion of Barbara Loden’s work and her legacy as a continuing inspirational force in cinema.
