Belfast Film Festival is excited to screen a secret project from festival favourite, Mark Cousins. Clearly, not much can be revealed about the film at this point, and to keep everything fully under wraps, attendees will be required to sign Non-Disclosure Agreements on arrival at the venue.
The director of The Story of Film: An Odyssey, A Sudden Glimpse to Deeper Things, I Am Belfast, and many more is known for both epic-length explorations and dreamlike shorts, so will it be 15 hours, or 15 minutes?
What is certain is that in true cineliterate Mark Cousins style, the film will use the cinema of the past as a springboard to something fresh and visually innovative, and will pose questions that will linger on long after the lights come up.
