Belfast Film Festival presents Northern Ireland Now: Collecting Belfast On Screen.

Northern Ireland Now, the innovative contemporary collecting project from Northern Ireland Screen and Nerve Centre, has returned and is supporting communities in Belfast to bring forward their unique film content.

Join us for a celebratory screening of some of the first Belfast-based partners who have been engaging in film heritage and archives on the exciting second phase of the project. From reflecting on youth clubs in Ardoyne to celebrating DJ culture with disabled-led club nights, these films showcase our diversity and make the Digital Film Archive more representative of contemporary society.

There will be the opportunity after the screening to meet one another, discuss ideas and share some refreshments. All are welcome. Northern Ireland Now is increasing access to archival material with the support of the BFI.
