SOLD OUT-Baby Daddy
Jun 23 @ 11:00 am

Tickets £10. Concession available £6.
Capacity 8 per show. (1 ticket for a parent and child) 11am, 1pm + 3pm shows !

With three beardy men, powerful live instruments, lots of rumbling songs, and a bit of rough and tumble, this show is the daddy of them all.

Baby Daddy is a show for babies aged 6-18 months with an all-male cast. It features 3 male performers, each playing a live instrument, and takes place in a specially-designed tourable theatre space, playing to 6-8 babies at a time (and their grown-ups). It utilises Replay’s knowledge of sensory theatre, music and play, and expertise in working with babies to create a unique, safe and fun-filled show full of making friends and laughter.

Children aged between 6-18 months and their grown-ups, whether that’s Dads, Mums, Grannies, Grandas, nursery staff or carers across NI. Every child deserves the right to feel special, to be the centre of attention and to feel secure in the presence of, and valued by people of both genders. Baby Daddy exists to do just that. It also provides carers, staff and parents with the opportunity to share the experience with the child, allowing them to learn new ideas and methods to help develop relationships, build bonds and encourage creativity in a day care setting or at home.

“So lovely to see a Daddy show” Audience Member

“Amazing! Loved the gentle playfulness. Loved that the cast are 3 guys. Loved that it wasn’t all gentle (i.e. bit of volume from the guitars) All great!!” Audience Member

“Just to let you know that our parents attending the Baby Daddy Tour absolutely loved the performances, all remarked how the babies’ reactions were amazing to watch. Some described it as like being in your own children’s television show. Some of the parents even remarked how they were going to try and replicate it at home by dimming down their lights at home and using simpler music to stimulate their babies. I thought it was fantastic myself and would like to pass on my sincere thanks to the performers and crew on the Baby Daddy Tour and Replay Theatre for providing our parents and babies with such a memorable experience.” Family Support Worker – Sure Start

“Absolutely brilliant, so much the babies to see touch and hear. Would definitely recommend.” Audience Member

Inni-K ‘The Hare & the Line’

– Album launch tour

Named by RTÉ.ie as “one of ten fierce women defining Irish culture”, Dublin-based singer, multi-instrumentalist and songwriter Inni-K has received consistent praise for her fresh style of indie-folk since the 2015 release of her acclaimed album ‘The King has Two Horse’s Ears’.

Inni-K’s music draws on her extensive background in folk and traditional Irish music, even as she ventures into new musical territories. Her music combines ethereal vocals with deft musicianship, evocative lyrics (bilingual at times), and a unique approach to song-writing. Having shared stages with various renowned musicians including Malian kora master Toumani Diabaté, drummer Jeff Ballard, Glen Hansard, Liam Ó Maonlaí, Lisa Hannigan, and many more, Inni-K is becoming a well-established presence in Irish music. She recently sold out the Irish Arts Centre, New York, was an Official Showcase performer at Folk Alliance International music conference in Montréal as part of her U.S. and Canada tour dates, and is now set for a busy time ahead touring Ireland, UK and continental Europe.

Inni-K’s eagerly-awaited second album, titled ‘The Hare & the Line’, is out March, 2019. ‘The Hare & the Line’ presents a more raw, more affecting collection of songs than Inni-K’s previous work; a collection varied in tone, and showing the maturity of these past years spent engaged in music. The new single ‘Just After’ was released 1st February 2019 & is accompanied by a beautiful video by Laura Sheeran: https://bit.ly/2N1VChW

A dance floor is available to lindy hop till you drop with swing classics such as Benny Goodman’s ‘Sing, Sing Sing!’ and the Andrews Sisters’ ‘Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy’. You can jump and jive along to ‘Stupid Cupid’, or sit back and enjoy classics like ‘We’ll Meet Again’ and ‘Mister Sandman’.
So if you’re ‘In The Mood’ for a rare vintage experience, this show will be just the ticket.
