Festive Hits with a Swingtime Twist!

Back by popular demand to the Black Box after many sold out performances across the country, The Swingtime Starlets are more excited than ever to spread the musical magic of a close-harmony Christmas!

Having sadly been unable to perform their traditional Christmas show last year, they are back with a bang and delighted to be singing live once more with their Andrews Sisters-inspired celebration of timeless classics and crowd-pleasing festive hits – all with their trademark Swingtime twist!!

It’s the perfect occasion to Don your Glad Rags, Deck the (dance!) Halls and Jingle Bell Rock your way to the Black Box with friends and family for what will promise to be a Merry and Bright, Christmas Cracker of a night!

It is the Most Wonderful Time of the Year after all, so why not have a Holly Jolly Christmas the Swingtime way!

‘They whoop up a storm as they sing in close harmony the songs from the 40s and 50s in the style of the famous Andrews Sisters…Their show is pure vintage in every way.’
The Irish News

‘Great Christmas cabaret show [email protected] tonight in Belfast City centre. The harmonies & vocals were sublime. I now feel Christmassy!’
X-factor finalist Rhydian [email protected]

‘That is Fabulous, loved it! Love it, love it, love it!’

Jingle Belles: A Family Christmas Spectacular
Dec 23 @ 8:00 pm

This Christmas, local Jingle Belles Sinéad and Tom O’Kelly are uniting for a special one night only cabaret performance in their native Belfast. This event will be jampacked full of your favourite Christmas songs, as well as many beloved showtunes and pop songs, with plenty of irreverent comedy thrown in for good measure.

Though a seasoned actor and singer already, Tom O’Kelly is in the genesis of his career. He has been lucky enough to train at the prestigious Royal Academy of Music in London for the past three years, where has honed his skills as a classical singer. He has been a soloist in venues across the UK and Ireland, including the Grand Opera House, Belfast, and the Wigmore Hall in London. Aside from classical music, he has begun to make a name for himself in the local musical theatre scene, having participated in several musical workshops and play readings. More recently, he has been a regular gigger in the London cabaret scene. Other passions of Tom’s include drinking Sauvignon Blanc and watching “Murder, She Wrote”.

In recent years, Sinéad O’Kelly has proven to be a tour de force in the international theatre scene, as a soloist, and particularly in opera, all to critical acclaim. Having trained at the National Opera Studio in London, Sinéad has gone on to enjoy a lot of success. In addition to singing leading roles in opera houses from Zurich to Dublin -and everywhere in between- she has also shared the stage with stars such as Cecilia Bartoli, Joyce Didonato, and NI superstar Peter Corry. As a soloist, she has performed in venues all over the world. When not singing at the Royal Albert Hall, Sinéad enjoys completing very difficult jigsaw puzzles and listening to true crime podcasts.
