A full day of dancing, film, fun and friendship for everyone!
The Black Box welcomes everyone to our inclusive ‘Full Moon’ event to celebrate the outreach work we do within our organisation.
The Black Box in the heart of the cathedral quarter has been one of Belfast’s most beloved venues since 2006. It is a home for live music, theatre, literature, comedy, film, visual art, science, circus, cabaret and all points in between! But many don’t realise we are a charity. Part of the work we do is to help remove barriers to give everyone access to the arts and opening vital links and friendships to people with learning disabilities.
To celebrate all the work we do, we have decided to have a jam-packed day suitable for everyone to join in on 25th August!
We will be showing off what we do and let you experience it all. Mini Moon will kick off the day which is a disco for young children with learning disabilities and their families and friends. Then Black Moon disco, which is for and by adults with learning disabilities will conclude the night with loads of dancing to some of our favourite tunes. We will also give you an insight into our other events and our outreach group Creating Connections which is funded by The Big Lottery project.
Pizza and soft drinks on sale all day so everyone can have time to chill out and find out more information about us, our outreach work and partners.
So come along and join us for dancing, creative workshops, film screenings, live music and much more!
All ages welcome. Sessions will have suitability for different age groups.
