Documentary, music
ATP was a festival that began in the early 2000s in a holiday camp in Camber Sands. The festival prided itself on having no corporate sponsors, and that the artists and performers stayed in chalets alongside the fans. The festival took place in the UK, USA and Australia and each year was curated by a different artist – Nick Cave, the Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Matt Groening of The Simpsons fame. This film takes footage created by fans and musicians on camcorders, mobile phones and Super 8 film. It makes a collage as eclectic and surprising as the festival itself!
Starring – Sonic Youth, Belle & Sebastian
Director – Jonathan Caouette, Luke Morris
All fans of music, art and festivals of every type and genre will dig this one!
Hitflix.com: “one of the singular film experiences…so far this year”
For fans of – Velvet Goldmine, Rock n Roll High School

This screening forms part of FUGUE, a series that takes the themes of music and performance in film and uses them to subvert, distort and fragment the traditional cinema experience. Events will take place between May and October 2017 with support from Film Hub NI.

This will be an inclusive, accessible screening; access is all on one level, the room will not be completely dark, the volume will not be overly loud and walking around/talking during the film is permitted.
